Pre-Production Lamborghini Urraco Coupe
Introduced in 1972, the Urraco was the affordable Lamborghini, built to compete with the Ferrari Dino and Maserati Merak. The 2+2 coupe was penned by Marcello Gandini and fitted with 2, 2.5, and 3-liter V8s. The Urraco here is pre-production number 19 and left the factory in November 1972 to the original owner in Italy. In 1992, the car was stored in a garage, where it remained for over 20 years before the current owner acquired it and began a restoration. A repaint in the original orange and a full rebuild of the engine by a Lamborghini mechanic brought the car up to standard, with the interior being left untouched. The car is currently offered for sale in Germany.
