Raspberry Pis are powerful little computers, but until now, their camera modules have been lacking. That changes with the new High Quality Camera. The compact module is built around a 12.3-megapixel Sony sensor, paired with a C-mount that supports a variety of widely-available lenses. With this upgrade comes a dramatic increase in image quality, with more professional-looking results. It also records 1080p video at 30 fps and has both a tripod mount and screw holes for securing it to various surfaces.
