Reebok Floatride Space Boot SB-01

Developed in collaboration with spacesuit supplier David Clark Company, the Reebok Floatride Space Boot SB-01 will be on the feet of astronauts as they climb aboard Boeing's new CST-100 Starliner spacecraft. A mashup of a runner, sandal, wrestling boot, and aviator boot, these calf-high shoes rely on the same lightweight midsole technology as the company's Floatride Run sneaker for unprecedented mobility. It uses a fire-resistant Nomex shell combined with a unique mesh that locks when the suit inflates, ensuring it always fits comfortably. It's undergoing testing now and will be put into service early next year.
