Richard Neutra Stilt House
Built in 1966, the Stilt House is 1 of 17 homes designed by Richard Neutra on a Sherman Oaks hillside. The platform house cantilevers over the terrain, propped up by timber poles. Its 1,800-square-foot, two-bedroom interior retains many original features that include a fieldstone wood-burning fireplace and signature Neutra floor-to-ceiling windows. These vintage details are enhanced by modern updates to the kitchen and bathrooms along with conveniences like smart-home technology, push-button shades, and a drop-down projection screen. Although, all of the amenities pale in comparison to the unobstructed views over Beverly Glen.
