Rothy's Varsity Collection

Rothy's gives vintage athletic sneakers a sustainable update with the Varsity Collection. The shoes feature classic '80s style with a knit upper crafted using thread made from plastic water bottles. A terry-lined tongue and contoured footbed provide soft, sock-like comfort, while a padded ankle collar filled with excess yarn from production adds to the cushioning. To finish off the old-school aesthetic, the upper is mounted on a gum outsole with grooves for traction and is offered in a trio of timeless color-blocked designs. Each shoe is handcrafted with nearly zero waste and fully machine washable for extended wear.
