Russell Built Porsche 911 Safari Sportsman
TJ Russell left Singer to start his own fabrication shop, with his first creation, a safari 911 for the 2019 SEMA show. Russell Built has made Baja-winning 911s that run about $400,000 — but now, with the Safari Sportsman kit, buyers can get most of the performance without all the cost. Based on the 964 generation 911, the Safari Sportsman adds all the suspension from the Baja 911. Heavy-duty pieces like upgraded hubs, bearings, billet aluminum uprights, and steel plate lower A-arms are all included. UK-based supplier EXE-TC provides the dampers, while a custom rear subframe carries King coilovers and other custom parts. Bolt-on fenders cover the widened stance and all-terrain tires, while accessories like a brush bar, exterior lighting, skid plates, and a roof rack are available.
