Seven Three Distilling Irish Channel Whiskey
Blended whiskey gets an unfair bad rap. The truth is, blending a spirit to a specific profile is incredibly difficult to do consistently. So when this blend took home Gold at the recent American Whiskey Masters, we took a closer look. Seven Three Distilling's Irish Whiskey is a blend of two three-year-old Irish Whiskies and a 10-year-old American whiskey, named for the New Orleans neighborhood Irish Channel, a historic area that blended American and Irish long ago. The unique dram is finished in 25-year-old cognac barrels over a period of 8 months before being bottled at 90 proof.
