Stephen Hawking's Blackboard

In 1980 at a Workshop in Cambridge, noted theoretical physicist, cosmologist, and author Stephen Hawking and his colleagues discussed a universal "theory of everything." This blackboard was Hawking's souvenir from the international conference, and shows the community's sense of humor. It contains cartoons, meme-like misspellings, half-finished equations, and lots of other scribbles that likely only make sense to those thoroughly immersed in science. It's currently on display at the Science Museum of London as part of the "Stephen Hawking at Work" exhibit which also contains a copy of his 1966 thesis, his wheelchair, and a personalized jacket from The Simpsons.
