Studio Mule

The Instagram page describes Studio Mule as a "small place to enjoy eccentric elegant music and natural wine." As you scroll through the feed, you instantly realize the Japanese bar and record shop is much more. Created by Mule Musiq's DJ Toshiya Kawasaki, the intimate spot in Tokyo's Shibuya City is a refined hideaway for local audiophiles. The space is defined by a large L-shaped bar with a stone top. Metal chairs line the counter while neutral hues cover the walls. Behind the bar, dark wood built-ins house an extensive vinyl collection while a retro hi-fi adds to the vintage vibes. There's also a wall of shelves that display the wine list and a small corner reserved for selling records.
