Swing House
Part restoration and part art installation, Mark de Jong's Swing House puts a whimsical touch on architectural design. From the street, the structure's vintage facade falls in line with the rest of its Cincinnati neighborhood. Upon entry, the interior has been completely peeled back. All walls and floors have been removed to make room for a three-story swing. The seat is suspended on a pair of ropes at the center of the home allowing riders to sway back into the kitchen and kick forward into bed.
