Tamiya Wild One Max 8/10 Scale Offroader

In 1985, Tamiya released the Wild One — a build-it-yourself 1/8th scale radio-controlled car that became as iconic as the Lamborghini Countach, Porsche 959, and Ferrari F40. The Wild One had a re-release in 2012, but now UK-based The Little Car Company is building an 8/10th scale version, complete with battery power and a top speed of 35 MPH. The scaled-up Wild One is about the size of a Fiat 500, with the details like narrow front tires and knobby rears, a tube frame, racing seat, and digital gauges. Hydraulic Brembo brakes feature regenerative braking, and the electric motor makes 5.5 horsepower. Pre-orders for the Wild One are available now.
