Tatamel Electric Folding Motorbike
In Japan, space is at a premium in its busy cities. From the home of the kei car comes startup Icoma and the Tatamel, its new folding electric minibike. The prototype Tatamel is classified as a moped in Japan and transforms into a square small enough to fit under a desk. The bike has full front and rear suspension and is powered by a 600-watt motor, good for a top speed of 25 MPH and a range of around 31 miles. When folded, the Tatamel has rollers that allow it to be easily moved from outdoors to indoors. Watch the Tatamel in action here.
