They're made from a 6-oz. blend of organic cotton, nylon, and spandex that gets better with age and has a water-repellent coating. Four pockets — two front slash pockets and two rear patch pockets with snap flaps — provide storage with drain holes to help facilitate drying. An elastic waistband in the back and internal drawcord keep things comfortable and secure, while the snap top button and zipper fly give them a more formal look.
