TERA-1 3D-Printed Cabin

Just because interplanetary colonization isn't in our present doesn't mean the research should go to waste. Using the same space-grade technology as their NASA Centennial Challenge-winning Marsha, AI SpaceFactory has created the Tera Cabin. The 3D-printed habitat is situated on the Hudson River, giving guests a taste of what life on another planet would be like without having to leave Earth. Its futuristic, cone-like exterior is formed by a sustainable mixture of sugar, and basalt and features a living area, sleeping loft, and bathroom in the interior. Diamond-shaped windows provide views of the rural landscape while an outdoor terrace overlooks the riverbank. Each stay will contribute research and development as well as funding future projects. Tera will be available open for visitors starting March 2020.
