The Last Ford GT40 Ever Made

The Ford GT40's last of four consecutive wins at Le Mans came in 1969, the year this GT40 was built — the last GT40 produced. Exhaustive research by GT40 experts have confirmed the provenance of the car, chassis number P/1085. Delivered to Sir Malcolm Gutherie in the UK as a rolling chassis, the car was stored and remained untouched until a restoration in the late 2000s to 1968 JWA "Gulf Spec". P/1085 is currently powered by a period-correct 302 cubic-inch V8 wearing Gurney-Westlake cylinder heads and comes with 10 and 14-inch wheels with disc brakes and four-pot calipers, like the Le Mans-winning race cars. The last of one of the most successful racing cars ever, this GT40 is also eligible for historic racing, where we hope the new owner shows the car in its natural state.
