The White Porsche Collection
A collection that spans nearly the entire history of Porsche and the 911, all in white -- that's what will greet bidders in Houston, Texas, this December. Of 63 total lots, 56 of them are Porsches, with some standout vehicles crossing the block. The most desirable lot will be the 2015 Porsche 918 Weissach Spyder, finished in paint-to-sample Grand Prix White with matching magnesium wheels over a LTS Yachting Blue leather and Bianco Leda piping. The 918 was ordered with over $96,000 in options and is the only example in this configuration. Next would be the 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 Lightweight. A rare USA-delivery car, it was specified with the lightweight Sport (M471) package. Another standout is a 1994 Porsche 911 Turbo S X85 with the iconic flat-nose front clip and an interior with Rootwood treatments and Cashmere Beige leather. It is believed to be one of only two in its color. From these three examples are 911s representing every generation of the type, up to the present day.
