TLC 1988 FJ62-911 Toyota Land Cruiser SUV

The latest custom Land Cruiser from North Carolina's TLC takes inspiration from an extremely unlikely source — the Porsche 911. Commissioned by a longtime Porsche enthusiast, this FJ62 shares Porsche's classically understated style. The exterior is finished in Agate Grey Axalta Cromax XP with TLC's front fender and rear three-quarter vents for a subtle sporting touch. Inside, the door cards have been redone to recall the 911, along with leatherette seats with Porsche's signature houndstooth inserts. Power comes from a 6.2-liter LS3 making 430 horsepower, driving all four wheels through a 6L80 automatic transmission. The suspension has been upgraded with Old Man Emu springs and Fox Racing dampers along with a Red Head steering box for more precise steering. TLC is taking commissions for Land Cruisers now.
