Toyota Land Cruiser Se Concept EV

The designs of legacy ICE vehicles were largely dictated by the constraints of their powertrains. Electric vehicles offer far less resistance to novel layouts, presenting the challenge of updating well-known models with new technology while keeping their identity intact. Toyota's Land Cruiser Se concept is a prime example. Its boxy front end recalls heritage models, while the monocoque and BEV underpinnings combine for responsive handling and the off-road chops the Land Cruiser is known for. As a concept, it's unlikely it ever sees the road in exactly this configuration, but it likely points to the beginnings of a future production model.
