Toyota Snowhunter Concept Vehicles
Toyota put snow tracks on a Tundra, Tacoma, 4Runner, Land Cruiser and Sequoia, covered all five in white camouflage with gloss black trim, and named the family Snowhunter. Each is set up for a different winter job. The Tundra is the mobile basecamp, and its top rack drops down so gear is easier to load. The Tacoma carries an awning and recovery gear for tight trails, the Land Cruiser a ski rack, and the 4Runner and Sequoia Thule cargo boxes. They are prototypes that Toyota says may not be allowed on public roads, perhaps an acceptable limitation for vehicles built to cross deep snow.
