Vandal One Track Car
There are plenty of options for anyone with enough cash to throw at a track toy, but only one is made in in the US — the Vandal One. Based in Detroit, Michigan, Vandal starts with a full carbon fiber monocoque chassis and F1-inspired pushrod suspension design. The monocoque meets FIA crash standards, reinforcing that this is a legit race car, not just a weekend toy. Power comes from Honda's 2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder found in the Civic Type R, making 340 horsepower in standard tuning and a massive 560 in the One R. The engine is mated to a sequential six-speed transmission by Sadev that can complete shifts in 40ms. The carbon fiber bodywork produces over 1,700 pounds of downforce and is completely independent of the chassis, meaning it can be changed or upgraded as necessary. The entire car weighs just 1,221 pounds, giving it a power-to-weight ratio better than a Bugatti Chiron — and potentially better performance. Preorders for the One are open now.
