Velocity Classics Chevrolet K5 Blazer

Cars may have never been better than they are now, but in a sea of crossover SUVs and sedans with the same vague, formless shape, nothing stands out like the classics. Much like The Six Million Dollar Man, we can rebuild these classics better, stronger, and faster. Velocity Classics is doing exactly this with the first-gen K5 Blazer. Just like the original K5, the Velocity Classics restomod comes with no top, although four seats — instead of one — are standard equipment. A fifth-gen LT1 V8 making 455 horsepower is under the hood, mated to a 10-speed GM automatic. Fox coilover dampers, Dana 44 and 60 axles, and an Atlas two-speed transfer case get the K5 over the rough stuff, with Wilwood brakes bringing everything to a halt. Inside is an interior color matched to the exterior, with Vintage Air HVAC and a six-point roll cage. Builds take a little over three months to complete, with Velocity Classics ready for orders.
