Verge TS Electric Motorcycle

Based in Finland, Verge Motorcycles is ramping up to start production on one of the most unique bikes to hit the market. The TS combines radical design with a spec sheet that makes other motorcycles — ICE or electric — blush, with top-shelf parts from an Ohlins-designed suspension to a Brembo braking system. Its most striking feature though is the hubless rear wheel. Locating the electric motor in the wheel rim eliminates the traditional belt or chain drive and allows a larger battery pack to fill the space in the frame. Verge claimes a hypercar-like 737 lb-ft of torque with a 0-60 time of under four seconds and a top speed of 111 MPH. Range is 124 miles highway/186 miles city, with charge times of four hours with the onboard unit or 50 minutes using a fast charger. A refundable $2,100 dollar deposit will reserve yours.
