The New Pope
Not quite a second season, but more of a continuation — that's how HBO describes The New Pope, which picks up where 2016's The Young Pope left off. John Malkovich's Giovanni Paolo III has now ascended to the papacy, and Jude Law's Lenny Belardo's is about to awaken. The series will be airing on HBO in January 2020.
The Grudge
Based on the Japanese Ju-On films and Sarah Michelle Gellar's 2004 horror classic, The Grudge is getting a reboot. The franchise's original producers return to give the story a sinister new take and an R rating. Starring Andrea Riseborough, John Cho, and Demián Bichir, the film is slated for release on January 3, 2020.

Jet-Powered Star Wars Landspeeder
Mad scientist Colin Furze has built a full-size AT-AT and Kylo Ren's TIE fighter, and to cap off the trilogy, he has just finished a replica of Luke Skywalker's landspeeder from A New Hope. Starting with a golf cart, Colin and his team fabricated the entire landspeeder by hand, all based on a scale model. Watch how he did it here.
Banksy's Bench Birmingham
Banksy has sent out his annual Christmas card. His follow-up to Season's Greetings — a child catching ash snowflakes on his tongue that was painted on the side of a garage in South Whales — draws attention to the homeless in Birmingham with a couple of reindeer pulling a park bench sleigh. The mural already seems to be working. After just 20 minutes, the man featured in the video was given a hot drink, two chocolate bars, and a lighter by some generous folks.

What do you get when you mix Ryan Reynolds, Michael Bay, and a f*ck-load of dynamite? 6 Underground. Written by the Deadpool and Deadpool 2 team Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the film follows six billionaires who form a secret squad of vigilantes after faking their own deaths. It'll premiere on Netflix on December 13, 2019.
Star Wars: Rise Of The Resistance First Ride
The centerpiece of Walt Disney World's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is now open. Rise of the Resistance takes guests on a ride that starts with a choice: Being detained for sympathizing with the Resistance or supporting the Empire, ahem, New Order. Depending on the pick, two unique rides follow both sides as the rebels try to make an escape and the New Order fights an epic space battle. The ride's West Coast twin is slated to open in Disneyland in January.
