It's been over 30 years since new record pressing equipment was installed anywhere in the United States. That changed with the opening of Third Man Records in Detroit, Michigan. Started by Jack White, Third Man records, presses, and creates merch for artists on the label — all in-house. Adam Savage visited Third Man in Detroit, recorded a song, and watched the entire process from recording to record pressing.
