After a successful Kickstarter campaign, Penny Arcade's webcomic Automata is getting its own live-action series. In the sci-fi-noir, robots have been banned, and the ones that are left are strictly regulated. Robot detective Carl Swagee and his human partner Sam Regal. Five episodes are available to Kickstarter backers, with no word on a release to the broader public.
