Being Alone Forever

Humans are social creatures, and while solitude can be good for everyone, too much can be extremely harmful. One way we've learned about isolation is by solitary confinement in prison. The effects of solitary are well-known — mental issues, violence, and hallucinations — and have also been studied with primates in the lab. LifeNoggin looks at what happens when we're alone too much, and what that teaches us about ourselves.
