MetMo Eddy

In 1855, French physicist Léon Foucault discovered that moving a conductor through a magnetic field could generate circulating electrical currents within the metal, creating a force that resists its motion. Nearly two centuries later, MetMo harnesses that electromagnetic force into a palm sized gadget, the Eddy. Built around pure copper and a powerful magnet, the precision-engineered object turns electromagnetic induction into something you can see, feel, and repeat. CRKT Snap Lock Folder Knife

Designed by Ed Van Hoy, the Snap Lock has been a hit since it earned Most Innovative Knife at the 2004 Blade Show. In this black and gold model, it brings a contemporary look while maintaining its functionality. Unlike most knives, it opens to the side and not the top, using a cam lever to push the sides out, allowing the blade to swing open and snap into place. The user's grip helps hold the blade in place until another push of the cam releases it for safe stowing. Thanks to the open design, it's not just visually striking, but also extremely lightweight.
