Nearly 30 years after the hooked urban legend slashed through cinemas, Jordan Peele is rebooting Candyman. Dubbed a spiritual sequel to the original, the film goes back to the same Chicago neighborhood. Gentrification has changed the entire area but one thing remains — a honey-covered boogeyman is still haunting those who say his name five times. Starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and the original Candyman himself Tony Todd, the film will go to theaters on August 27, 2021.
James Gunn has released another look at his The Suicide Squad reboot. The film is intended to be a standalone sequel to the 2016 movie and even brings back several familiar faces including Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, and Jai Courtney. There are also loads of new members to the squad like Idris Elba's Bloodsport, John Cena's Peacemaker, Sylvester Stallone's King Shark, and Pete Davidson as Blackguard. The Suicide Squad will premiere in theaters and on HBO Max on August 6, 2021.

The G.I. Joe film series is getting a reboot with the debut of Snake Eyes. The film will follow the origin story of the classic character, starting with his induction into the ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage. Starring Henry Golding along with Andrew Koji as Storm Shadow, Úrsula Corberó as The Baroness, Samara Weaving as Scarlett, and Iko Uwais as Hard Master, the movie will premiere in theaters on July 23, 2021.
In 2008, The Killers released the album Day & Age, and on it was the track "A Dustland Fairytale." After over a decade, the Las Vegas band is re-releasing the song as a duet with Bruce Springsteen. The collaboration came after The Boss reached out to frontman Brandon Flowers via text, and after some disbelief and verification, the rest is history. The new cover shortens the title to just "Dustland" and is available on all music platforms now.
