DC's FanDome offered the first look at James Gunn's The Suicide Squad. Although it isn't an official teaser, this sneak peek is filled with behind-the-scenes goodies from the sort-of reboot to the 2016 film. The film is intended to be a standalone sequel and even brings back several familiar faces including Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, and Jai Courtney. There are also loads of new members to the squad like Idris Elba's Bloodsport, John Cena's Peacemaker, and Pete Davidson as Blackguard. The Suicide Squad will premiere in theaters on August 21, 2021.
