Hank Aaron ended his career with 755 home runs, but his chase for Babe Ruth's then-record 714 long balls hit a fever pitch when he blasted number 699. This Type 1 original image was taken by a UPI photographer on Friday night, July 20, 1973, at Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium just seconds after Hammering' Hank made contact with a pitch from Phillies hurler Wayne Twitchell and sent it over the outfield wall for his 699th homer. The photo arrives in a white custom frame with white acid-free mats, a clear frame back through which to view the original details, and a UV protective acrylic cover.
A Type 1 photograph is a historical photograph that was developed from the original negative during the time period in which it was taken, usually by a publication.

The baseball cap bill can keep precipitation off your face for a time, but they're generally designed to deflect sunlight, not precipitation. Built from Barbour's 6 oz. Sylkoil waxed cotton, the Prestbury Cap can deflect rain and flurries without soaking through. It has a traditional six-panel silhouette with a 100% cotton Barbour Tartan head pad, an adjustable fabric back strap with branded buckle, and a subtle embroidered logo on the lower front right.
In 1855, French physicist Léon Foucault discovered that moving a conductor through a magnetic field could generate circulating electrical currents within the metal, creating a force that resists its motion. Nearly two centuries later, MetMo harnesses that electromagnetic force into a palm sized gadget, the Eddy. Built around pure copper and a powerful magnet, the precision-engineered object turns electromagnetic induction into something you can see, feel, and repeat. Send the magnet into motion and invisible eddy currents fight back, slowing its movement in a strangely mesmerizing demonstration of physics at work. Equal parts scientific experiment, kinetic sculpture, and desktop distraction, the Eddy re-engineers a discovery from 1855 for anyone who finds magic in understanding how things work.
