Until now, the ads used covers of famous songs that were so popular some of them even charted on the UK Singles Chart. This year, John Lewis pulled out all the stops, bringing in music icon Elton John in a retrospective of his career set to "Your Song". Sitting at the piano Elton got for Christmas as a boy, the ad travels back in time to a gift that would change his life — and launch one of the most storied careers in pop music history.
