Have you ever wondered what rusty barbed wire would sound like if it was a sound? Captain Beefheart's 1969 classic Trout Mask Replica is as close as you can get. The bizarre record was the brainchild of Don Glen Vliet, a classmate of Frank Zappa, and released on Zappa's Straight Records label.
