The long-awaited film adaptation is finally here, except that it isn't an adaptation — it is its own entry in the series. Idris Elba stars as Roland Deschain, the last Gunslinger in a dying world, as he chases down Matthew McConaughey as the Man in Black, a mysterious sorcerer who might hold the answers to the world's undoing. The Dark Tower comes to theaters August 4, 2017.
