The story follows the group of anti-Vietnam War protesters as they go on trial for conspiracy, incitement to riot, and a list of other chargers before the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Starring Sacha Baron Cohen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Eddie Redmayne, Jeremy Strong, and Michael Keaton, The Trial of the Chicago 7 is slated to release on Netflix October 16, 2020.
