Volkswagen x Arctic Trucks Amarok AT35 Concept

Volkswagen's Amarok is a mid-size body-on-frame truck designed to go head-to-head with the likes of Toyota's Tacoma and the Ford Ranger and Chevrolet Colorado — and that makes it the perfect platform for the first collaboration between VW and expedition vehicle specialists Arctic Trucks. Arctic Trucks took the Amarok's capability to the next level with a host of upgrades, raising the ride height by 25mm and fitting larger wheels and tires. Fender flares cover the wider rubber front and rear, along with a cap over the bed that has been fitted with equipment for tackling Iceland's outdoors. The AT35 is expedition-ready with a portable generator, fire extinguisher, and a cappuccino machine to make sure you're at full awareness for the trip. Icelandic VW dealer Hekla commissioned the Amarok and it won't be sitting on the dealership floor looking menacing — the truck is currently taking customers out in the snow and ice for offroad driving experiences.
