The deep-sea squid has developed the most advanced form of camouflage found in Mother Nature. Borrowing from their 500 million years of research, Vollebak has created the Black Squid Jacket. Its outer shell is inspired by the sea creatures color-shifting survival mechanism created using more than two billion microscopic glass spheres integrated into a layer of resin. When light hits it, the black, ink-like surface reflects the glow and turns into an iridescent skin for hyper-visibility on the slopes. It's also resistant to both wind and water for added protection while skiing or snowboarding.
