Typically bottled at 90.4 proof, Woodford Reserve is a highly-dependable bourbon, good for both casual sipping and cocktails. Part of the distillery's Master's Collection, their Batch Proof offering is made using the same mash bill as their standard Kentucky Straight Bourbon. Unlike the standard expression, Batch Proof sees select barrels blended into a batch and then bottled at its actual proof, straight from the barrel, without the typical dilution. At 124.7 proof, the 2023 release is one of the most potent yet, with the brand's signature flavors of vanilla and toasted oak amplified and joined by hints of baking spice, pine, and cedar.
