Workhorse Indian FTR AMA Motorcycle

Brice Hennebert, founder of Workhorse Speed Shop, was commissioned to build a bike based on the Indian FTR. The rules were simple: A design that incorporated the colors of the iconic Martini Racing livery. Hennebert delivered a motorcycle that combines influences of '80s AMA racing bikes and the ferocious Group B rally cars of the same era. The custom parts were designed in CAD and then 3D printed with carbon fiber reinforcing. A 3D printed front plate carries a PIAA light and an oil cooler underneath, while an OEM dash from the Indian Chief replaces the stock unit. The custom seat now doubles as the battery holder, while a vintage square taillight has been modified to house LEDs. New fuel cells were fabbed and fitted to the new bodywork that includes number plates, machined in Holland along with numerous other suspension parts, like the bespoke swing arm and steering yokes. Another custom bike belonging to the brother of the FTR AMA is set to be revealed soon.
