World View is expanding the space tourism sector with its Space Balloon Experience. Like Space Perspective, the company will send guests 100,000 feet off the ground in a pressurized space capsule to marvel at the world below. The difference is the view you're getting. Rather than taking off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, World View is offering 5-day packages that will launch from one of the Seven World Wonders. Each trip will highlight a different site, including the Amazon, the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Grand Canyon, Great Barrier Reef, the Serengeti, Great Wall of China, and the Northern Lights of Norway, begging with in-depth tours of each location before viewing the spectacular phenomenons from the edge of space. The 12-hour ride will take place in a luxury craft with reclining seats, a full bar, and a dining galley at your disposal. On-board cameras will capture the whole journey, allowing you to be fully present in the once-in-a-lifetime experience.
