After 50 years, Zenith's first El Primero watch is remerging from the archives as the Chronomaster Revival A385. The new release is a true remake of the classic 1969 timepiece, even using the original blueprints and production plans to ensure the watch stayed faithful to the initial model. In doing so, the piece brings back the brand's first gradient dial in a smoke brown hue that darkens as the color reaches the outer edges. It's housed in an authentic 37mm, tonneau-shaped stainless steel case and is finished with a brown calfskin leather strap that will patina over time, adding to the vintage character. The only variations to the original are the domed sapphire crystal that replaces the acrylic glass and a display back that highlights the El Primero 400 chronograph movement.
