Born in Minnesota and raised in California from the sixth grade, Arlen Ness was a legend in the American custom motorcycle scene for nearly 50 years. From the choppers of the '70s to today's designs, you can find Ness's influence just about anywhere you look. That's part of what makes this 1963 Harley-Davidson Duo-Glide special — Ness kept it completely stock. The other part is that the bike is one of Harley's rare Dispatch Service models, with a detachable sidecar that held tools for repairs on the go, and some models could even be used to tow a bike back to a shop for servicing. With its black, red, and white livery and former owner, this is a real piece of two-wheeled American history.
