The Ural motorcycle began as a reverse-engineered BMW based on models captured from German forces during WWII. If that's what you think of when you see freelance artist Iago Vailno's 3D render of an electric BMW offroad bike with a sidecar, that's the reason — BMW was building them 80 years ago. Valino's concept is powered by a 18.7 kWh battery that can drive all three wheels depending on conditions. LED strips and PIAA lights provide plenty of illumination, and knobby offroad tires make the most of the instant torque of the powertrain. The removable sidecar isn't intended to carry a passenger. Instead, it features a host of tie-downs, straps, and storage to stow a variety of tools and equipment and additional battery packs.
