1965 Iso Grifo A3/C

Giotto Bizzarrini was the chief engineer at Ferrari and instrumental in the development of the masterpiece 250 GTO. After leaving the company in 1961, Bizzarrini's second great work was the Iso Grifo A3/C. A pure-bred endurance racer, the A3/C won its class at Le Mans and was noted for several technical achievements, as well as its gorgeous styling. A body mode of an aluminum, copper, and magnesium alloy was extremely difficult to weld, resulting in the riveted body seen on this early example. Formerly owned by Jean-Philippe Smet, aka Johnny Hallyday, French music and movie star, the Iso Grifo is an ultra-rare piece of Italian racing history.
