1972 Detomaso Pantera Coupe
Despite its wedge shape and great performance, the Detomaso Pantera didn't have quite the cachet of fellow Italian supercars from Ferrari and Lamborghini. But the times have changed, and the once under-appreciated car now has plenty of admirers who see it for what it is — and what it's capable of. Powered by a mid-mounted 330-horsepower Ford V8 mated to a five-speed transmission, the Pantera didn't lack for performance or looks, and the 1972 model here is one of the best-kept examples you'll find. Showing only 70k miles on the odometer, this Pantera has a few tasteful modifications. Larger aftermarket wheels with staggered front and rear sizes with a period look set off the exterior, while the interior has custom bucket seats and Alcantara trim in a black-and-blue theme. Beautiful, fast and unmistakably Italian, this Pantera is the perfect way to step into vintage supercars.
