1972 Porsche 911 S Coupe
Porsche's 911 has been in state of constant evolution ever since the model was introduced in 1964. Eight years later in 1972, the 911 got its most extensive upgrade to date — increased engine displacement to 2.4 liters, a more balanced chassis, and with the S model, Bosch mechanical fuel injection for an output of 190 horsepower. This 911 S was sold new in Germany before arriving in Sweden in 1984. The car was partially disassembled where it remained in such a state before being bought by the current owner and restored to its current form. One of only 1,170 911 S models made for 1972, this is car is a notable marker in the 911's history.
