1987 BMW Alpina B7 Turbo Coupe

Alpina's turbo-charged BMW's are so mechanically different from the original that Germany designates them as a manufacturer. Primarily known for tuning BMW sedans, Alpina has produced a limited number of coupes, like this ultra-rare 1987 Alpina B7. Based on the E24 6-series, this B7 is equipped with a catalytic converter. While it drops horsepower slightly versus non-catalytic-equipped models, torque is increased in the low RPM range from 377 to 383 ft-lbs. 130 B7 coupes were produced, but only 17 were equipped with the catalytic converter, making this B7 a favorite among enthusiasts. After this B7 left the factory, the interior was reupholstered in red leather with sport seats, making for a stunning contrast with the black exterior. With its combination of rarity and excellent looks, this B7 a must-have for the Alpina fan.
