1989 MJ vs. Rodman Type 1 Original Photograph

Long before they teamed up for the second Bulls three-peat, Michael Jordan and Dennis Rodman were rivals, with the latter part of the hated Nasty Boys group. This original Kirthmon F. Dozier photo from May 31, 1989, shows a winded Jordan catching his breath, surrounded by fellow Hall of Famers Rodman and Joe Dumars. Chicago would lose the game, and go on to lose the series, but this rare Type 1 photo remains a highly collectible item, as it shows MJ wearing the classic "bred" Jordan 4 colorway and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

A Type 1 photograph is a historical photograph that was developed from the original negative during the time period in which it was taken, usually by a publication.
