1989 RUF CTR Yellow Bird Coupe

The company receives "bodies in white" — unmarked Porsche 911 chassis that are then built from the ground up, earning RUF the distinction of being an original manufacturer from the German government. In 1989, the RUF CTR was the fastest car you could buy. Compared against the best from Ferrari, Lamborghini, and even the Porsche 959, nothing could outrun the CTR Yellow Bird — so named because of the color of the test car that blew away the best on Earth at the time. This CTR is 10th of 29 original Yellow Birds made and has never been damaged or restored. In a sinister black with grey interior and black Recaro seats, the CTR is still capable of impressive numbers even in today's wild supercar market.
