1991 Porsche 911 Baja Prototype #1

Those looking for the ultimate 911 off-road build need look no further than this build by Russell Built Fabrication. Built for the 2019 SEMA Battle of the Builders, this example is the first of a handful of spare-no-expense "luxury" Baja builds by Russell and is more than just a style exercise. Starting with a clean 964 Carrera 4 Cabriolet, Russell reinforced the frame with an integrated steel roll cage, modifying the body to be 15 inches wider and three inches longer than stock — all while maintaining the classic lines. The interior is finished in Olive Green leather and black Alcantara, giving it the functional look of a race car without sacrificing comfort. The centerpiece is the engine, a 3.8-liter flat-six built specifically for the car by Rothsport Road & Race and controlled by a Motec ECU, making 360 horsepower.
