"Lightly used" isn't something that comes up very often when describing Mercedes's famous Unimog, but this 2003 Unimog U500 is just that, with just over 5,000 miles on the odometer. From 2002 to 2007, a tiny number of North American-spec Unimogs were sold through Freightliner dealers, and the one here was originally sold in Pennsylvania. As most unique cars and trucks do, this short-wheelbase Unimog made its way to California where it's now up for auction. A 6.4-liter turbodiesel inline-six mated to an eight-speed manual provides ample grunt for hauling, and a three-way tilt bed allows for easy dispersal of its contents — although with the low mileage, this U500 probably isn't going to see much work. A camo vinyl wrap, LED lighting, and custom roll bar with a full-size spare tire are aftermarket additions.
